Materials & Tools Needed
To achieve the exact plush, squishy look, here is what you will need:
- Yarn: Super bulky weight plush yarn (1 skein in White) — e.g., Hobbii Baby Snuggle or Katia Alabama equivalents.
- Crochet Hook: 4.5 mm crochet hook.
- Eyes: Safety eyes (approx. 8mm–10mm depending on your preference).
- Embroidery: Pink thread or yarn for embroidering the cute rosy cheeks (optional).
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Fiberfill stuffing
Abbreviations (US Terminology)
- MR: Magic ring
- St: Stitch / Stitches
- Sc: Single crochet
- Hdc: Half double crochet
- Inc: Increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
- Dec: Invisible decrease
- Slst: Slip stitch
- FO: Fasten off
- FLO: Front loops only
- BO: Bobble stitch (Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (leave remaining loops on hook). Repeat until you have 4 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all loops to close.)
Finished Size
Approximately 2.3 inches (6 cm) tall Ă— 3.14 inches (8 cm) wide (depending on yarn and tension), using a 4.5 mm hook and super bulky yarn.

Free No-Sew Little Ghost Crochet Pattern
Ghost
Start in white yarn.
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR (6)
Round 2: inc around (12)
Round 3: (sc, inc) x6 (18)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
Rounds 5-6 (2 rounds): sc around (24)
Round 7: 8 sc, BO in next st, 6 sc, BO in next st, 8 sc (24)


Place safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6, 4 stitches apart.
Round 8: Mark the back loop of the first st with a stitch marker. sc around (24)
Round 9: FLO: (in same st: (sc, hdc, sc), then slst in next st) x12.


Round 10: Working into the back loops marked in R8: sc around (24).

Round 11: (sc, dec) x8 (16).
Put stuff inside firmly.
Round 12: dec around (8).
FO, weave through the front loops of the remaining stitches and pull to close. Hide the yarn end inside.
Optional: embroider cheeks with pink yarn below eyes.
